I have a husky with my two yorkies...many people wouldn't think they would mix well because huskies have such a high prey drive...I have two stories with my Nika- the first one cuz its happy...Ruby and Rosie love Niks- She is so gentle with them and would never hurt a flea.. my previous yorkie Lola...also got along really good w Niks- but one day Lola was resource guarding her cheese. Nika was on the bed and jumped down. Lola thought she was going after the cheese and lunged at Nika at the same time Nika jumped down. Lola broke her neck and died instantly. Nika grieved for some time...looking for Lola. It totally was not Nika's fault. If you get a big dog...supervise supervise supervise no matter how gentle the big dog is.
