Depends on how much you need the money from the one day. As my Grandmother used to say "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face". If you need the money stay but look for a job to replace the one day job. You owe him no loyalty since he reneged on your original deal. Check with the other 4 accountants you never know. Let them know you were being loyal to a past employer but he changed the deal. Sorry about the bum deal. Best wishes.
