Just not abnormal around these parts for this to take place. No matter what...the dog should not have been stolen. I'm just not understanding why they can't find out the owner of the phone...maybe it was a prepaid tracphone..? dunno |
I am not saying taking a dog with you in your travels is abnormal or wrong. It's common practice here too and I am sure most places now as 'toy breeds' have become more popular. However, leaving a dog in a car alone just boggles my mind. I guess everyone doesn't know this is not a good idea unless they learn the hard way or someone informs them. I agree that the dog should not have been stolen, but I am not surprised that it was. It''s the owners fault first and foremost. I remember reading a story (which is still posted on the main page) of a dog being stolen because she let a stranger hold it. Guess what? Nobody I dont know is holding my dog! Period.
The phone company will not give you any info and for them to release any info to the police a subpena has to be involved. They cannot get a subpena unless charges are or will be brought up and thats not happening because the police are not getting involved.
