I feel bad I don't know what to do. Its also hard to carry him because they put his stitches on the inside of his leg so I'm scared to hold him because his other foot will touch the stitches. I hope this get easier because its going to be a long 8weeks for both of us.
I know I felt so bad for Buster after his surgery. Try slipping you hand/arm between the back legs so the hand rests on the chest and the feet are on either side of your arm hanging down. Then use the other hand to make sure he is secure. I sometimes would put my other hand under Buster's feet so they just lightly touch my hand. I will get easier but it is a long 8 weeks. I don't think laying on it would be too bad but I honestly don't know maybe check with his surgeon. I think they are more concerned with quick sharp movements.
PS when did he have the surgery?
Best wishes and smooth healing!
