However, don't bother with getting CKC papers. (I'm assuming that you mean Continental Kennel Club. If you are talking about Canadian Kennel Club, which is unlikely since the pups are from TX, Canadian Kennel Club papers are good). Continental Kennel Club papers are worthless and a waste of money, and essentially the same as having no papers at all.
