I have a genuine question for you - why are you starting threads on a 'discussion' forum, only to shut down the discussion as soon as it starts happening? I'm perplexed

. If you want to discuss things, then by all means start threads. If you don't want to discuss things, then perhaps don't
start a discussion....? It's fine if you're 'done' with this thread (we don't need to be notified, btw)...but the rest of us may still be discussing.
Moving on!
I feed raw, but not PMR. I have known of experienced PMR feeders to feed puppies raw after weaning. But honestly, I would not recommend it one bit unless a person is dead-set on it, AND knows what the heck they're doing. What concerns me is thinking of a new PMR feeder who throws in organ meats without knowing what they're doing, and disaster begins. Diarrhea in a puppy can become life threatening.
Even if a person wants to feed raw / PMR at some future point, there is nothing wrong w/ feeding kibble/canned until they are adults and their immune systems are fully developed.
I wouldn't support the claim that raw 'solves tartar'. Yes, it can help tremendously...but tartar and dental issues are also very hereditary, so it's no guarantee; also, over-vaccination is notorious for causing future dental issues. I do think raw bones are wonderful for working the gunk off the teeth, and are definitely part of the arsenal against build up on teeth.
I like to use raw Bison back bones for my kiddos. They are non-consumables, which is unpopular w/ most PMR feeders, but they work beautifully. I've never had any of mine break a tooth, knock on wood...er...enamel.
And btw, I recently heard that in Colorado - there are wolf puppies who are walking into grocery stores TRYING TO SHOPLIFT BAGS OF KIBBLE. Kid you not. They are developing a double-blind randomized study about this recent phenomenon.
