I used the search feature but didn't find a thread regarding a raw diet...being dogs are carnivores, eating raw solves tarter, other skin and health problems, where are the others feeding a raw diet? Pooky got his first raw beef bone today...hoping it'll help his breath. I haven't looked up any info about raw food diet for a Yorkie but imagine it's the same as the our other dogs...which range from a Rottweiler, Boxer and toy Poodle. All LOVE it!

What I found was there isn't any particular formula, there are percentages to bone, meat, organs and fat/skins. Then they eat stuff in the yard like banana leaves and grass. But, it was a little expensive for us just to use the raw meat/bones so we added a mix of Kirkland Lamb and Rice which I will not give to the Yorkie...anyway, will be switching his diet when the kibble runs out and wanted to chat with others who are feeding their Yorkies raw. I mean, dogs don't cook their food in the wild, hehe
