"TxVicki" You would be amazed how medical care and love can turn this around.*Myself being a Volunteer in Rescue can say I have seen much worse, and I have seen first hand how great care can be given and the doggies go on to live in a Forever home and thrive.*There is no reason to PTS. He just needs to be in the right hands to get the care he needs.

I just am thinking about the pain of the animal. I am not a vet tech and what looks unrecoverable to me as a people nurse might not look so bad to someone who works with animals daily. If it was adopted by a forever home and given every comfort including adequate pain control and every medical treatment available, I am all for giving him a chance. I just would hate for an animal that looks like that to be treated lying on a concrete floor at a shelter with no person to love him and no forever home in sight. It is just too depressing for words.
As for sending $$ to help, nothing on CL IMO would influence me to send $$. If you want to help financially support a dog in need, go to a reputable rescue and look at the dogs there that need sponsers. Do not send $ to anything that you have not thoroughly researched 1st.

This dog was NOT listed on Craigs List. It is listed on PETFINDER Web Site, which is listed with a Rescue Group, now the Rescue Group Listing him is not a 501 (C) 3 org.
I have at times given to groups like this, BUT I actually find out the Vet Office treating such a pet and will donate to the Vet Office.
