We have two types of price ranges here.You can get a purebred dog for cheaper if it´s not registered (no paperwork) which is what most people go with here.Pedigree (or ACK or what ever you call it in the US) is basiclly useless here unless you´re showing,so hundreds of dogs are sold without that to keep the prices down.
Even the most reputable breeders now sell dogs with no paperwork (although they do give you the option to have it if you want it for a higher price).You get a health garantee,the first shots and of course deworming,but no paperwork.
Now,if you want paperwork,expect to pay 450+€ for a puppy (you can pay up to 500€).I got my two yorkies (Bella & Milo) from a wonderful breeder.They have a 3 year health garantee,they had their first round of shots,they were dewormed and they came with a certifercate that enables to me to send in for their paperwork if I want it (wont be doing that..I dont see the point),and I paid 100€ each for them (just over $100).
