 my baby is having surgery for her leg today.
My 1 year old yorkie broke her front leg 6 weeks ago. My vet put on a cast. At the 5 weeks mark there was no improvement. Turns out she should have had surgery from the get go (according to two other vets) so now she needs a plate and bone grafts. Im so mad at the other vet! So she is going into surgery with a top ortho surgeon today. (3200.00) Does any one have experience with the after care? She is a very sweet dog but has sudden bursts of energy where she goes cuckoo then will sleep for an hour...I just dont want to do anything to jepordize her recovery. I have a travel crate, a crate big enough for her an a small pee pad and a puppy apartment that I can make small enough just for her bed and bathroom. Im confused! I also bought a carrier thats like a purse that has the leg holes cut out! |
