GoldCupMom - Sounds like everything is turning out okay.

I worked in Radiology forever - it seems like.

My daughter and I both had abnormal mammograms (suspicious for malignancy). She went on to have an ultrasound and had no serious problems. (She does have a lump that may need to be aspirated in the future - the fluid removed).

I had to have a "stereotactic biopsy." They took a biopsy from the suspicious area in my breast, and it also turned out to be nothing serious.

I know it's hard not to worry - but my daughter and I did pretty well. We both refused to panic until all our tests were done - until we learned for sure that there was something we needed to worry about. And, it turned out that we were fine. I have seen so many hundreds of "abnormal mammograms" turn out to be like yours and ours. It's too bad so many of us go through so much anguish over what turns out to be nothing.

We're all happy to hear that you are just fine.
