I am a survivor of domestic violence. It took me 20yrs to break away from my abuser....had I not gotten out, there is no doubt in my mind that I would not be here right now. These 'men' never change IMO the cycle continues and gets worse, they all say I'm sorry I will change and they never do....sadly some do not make it out at all.....I am now an advocate against domestic violence through a support group at my work, its amazing how many are going through this cycle, and don't know where to go for help or where to go if they do manage to leave.
Rihanna is still trusting that this man will or has changed....for her sake I hope so...I so hope she does not become another statistic.
