Our little ones are SO cute, and seem SO docile laying around on all those cushions with bows in their hair, but...
ALL of them regardless of size, were bread as Varminteers, that can be as determine and vicious as a Tasmanian Devil ! My Male Sneakers literally jumps up and pulls his Harness off of the Hook I have them hanging on, to get us to go hunt. That's about a 3' straight up leap.
(I'll have him trained to put it on himself soon

)
For those of you who may have some sort of wooded/heavily grassed area near, to take your little guys out, and let them sniff/move around in it. It's an absolute delight for them to do that.
I use Retractable Leash's on my guys, and will hold them back until I see exactly what it is that they have focused on, BEFORE I trip that release and let them charge. You CAN do that safely !
