As Marhcarter has said, our little guys can be from rather "outspoken" to very quite like yours, but either can be adjusted. I have, and prefer the more outspoken approach, given that I'm very conscious (ha ok paranoid ) about anyone coming onto the property.

Actually, my guys weren't as vocal as they are now. When they bark at the right thing, I praise them highly. And when they're wrong, they don't get that, but, you must look each time, make that evaluation and take some action.

It's training, and it takes time for their eyes, ears and noses, to figure out how to get petted, praised and given a treat.
