Hello - I had never brushed Jack's teeth and wanted to wait until after Izzy had the few remaining baby teeth pulled. Since that has been done, I have been "brushing" there teeth every night before we go to bed for the past oh, about 4 days now. I put a little of their toothpaste on my index finger and rub it again my thumb and just use my fingers right now - no brushes. Maybe go back to doing it that way and also I read somewhere recently to do it at a time of day/night when they are calmer, like right before going to bed. My two are usually "napping" with me or DH before we head to bed so they are more relaxed then. Good luck!
