Thank you, Jeanie. I never miss Westminster. I love seeing all the groups, particularly the toys and terriers. What a great weekend and week this is for dog shows. The Yorkie Specialty was this weekend and then Westminster follows. Two years ago I spent the day with Gemy at the Yorkie Specialty, and that was such a special, thrilling day. Gail taught me all about what to look for and it was fascinating, particularly learning about movement. My dear friend Gail is so warm and caring, and she has so much knowledge that she iso willingly shares. Little did i know that one of the Yorkies that Gail asked me to photograph would turn out to be the sire of my little Katie who has completely stolen my heart. Betty Ann Durrer was showing BIS BISS Multi group winner, South Afr Am Can CH Rigair Marshal Gzada, Katie's sire and son of CH. Rigair"s Charming Melody (QT, baby Que Tee's mom), so I have lots of photos of him and also of Gemy"s magnificent Grand American Canadian CH. Rigair Sir Razzle Dazzle. I loved walking in the hotel, where inside and right outside I saw so many breeds who had come to the city for the big show. The New Yorker is dog friendly, and there were so many people there who had come in for Westminster. I am a lover of all dogs, big and small, and I'll never forget seeing so many wonderful dogs. I can't wait for tomorrow's show!
