Our local petsmart has adoption days with dogs from local shelters. They screen applicants and have a wide variety of breeds. A friend just adopted a boxer/shephard mix 2 weeks ago and said on that day they had several yorkie type small dogs up for adoption. Do not ever buy from a pet store, they support puppy mills, but petsmart adopts out from shelters, saving lives. That could be an option... |
