I have a Max too!
I bet he's cute like my maxiepoo! Your concerns are totally reasonable. Yorkies can be difficult to train. My Max has gone through so many phases in a year and half and I still don't trust him. BUT! I am a great detective (as I am sure you are) and I always notice a pee spot. If you haven't seen it, then I think you are good. If you haven't neutered, then you may think about it in order to allieviate their hormonal instinct to "mark" their territory. I am sure you know this already but crate training is the most effective way to potty train, according to many research studies. Good luck fellow Max mommy.
