My ZoE had a shorter, smoother coat as a puppy...she never looked like a fluffy puppy. Her breeder knew she would have a silky coat as an adult (and she does)...I don't know if that's based on how her puppy coat looked, or her years of experience judging coats...maybe another breeder will respond and let us both know.
Here's a photo of ZoE as a puppy, and then one from last summer (I don't have a recent one on the puter I'm currently on where you can see her coat cos she's wearing winter clothes in all the recent ones
) She's currently two years old, so in the last photo she was about 1 1/2yrs old.
