My Rosie is a barker. She has very SHARP hearing apparently. Haha. I don't really get on to her. I just tell her stop. If its nothing she will stop. If someone s out there she will bark until she sees who it is. So maybe try telling him to stop and redirect him? I know living in an apartment makes it difficult. Maybe someone with the same experience can help.
Ok on to number 2. What are you doing when he does this? Have you tried making him stop?
As far as following you, both my girls follow me EVERYWHERE. I don't shower alone, go to the bathroom alone, and never ever sit alone. I think this is just part of the Yorkies personality.
Mine used to beg when I was eating. I never gave them food. Now they don't bother with me. They know I'm not giving them anything. Has he had table food before?
