Got home this morning with my beautiful Bentley. The ride home was a bit rough on him. The roads were so up and down and twisty turney poor little man got sick. Thank god for pee pads, I brought 4 with me for just that purpose.
I don't think I could get a better baby out of that litter. He is so loving, pick him up and he will snuggle right in. Lay down with him on top of you he curls around your neck and is content. I joked maybe I should change his name to Scarf since he likes to act like one. Has pottied several time, each time on his pee pad. Last time he was outside his pen playing with me and he ran back in just to pee.
He wants to be buddies with the cat but all she wants to do is growl and hiss. Just a matter of time and I think she will at least tolerate him.
Only issue I see so far I need to be diligent with is he's a bit of a chewer. Any tips on gently breaking him of the habit is appreciated. I even noticed in our play session on the floor he was actually trying to chew the carpet. So I see a potential for a big problem. He likes he chew toy but the carpet or my fingers just seem so much more inviting.
As promised I've attached a picture of him. Love the one lop ear.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome so far and for any chewing advice anyone can provide.
