Well, I have now sewn together 2 pee pads: waterproof mattress pad and 2 layers of cotton (outside top and bottom) They are only 'okay'. Maya likes to bring a toy over and sit on the pad to chew the toy. I am thinking she will not want to pee on the pad...so, not a successful project
