He's probably just more interested in his new surroundings than he is the content of his food bowl. If he is peeing, pooping, and playing normally, he's probably fine. Are his eyes bright and shiny? Nose cool and damp?
Don't make the mistake I did and start messing with his diet! I've spent the last 3 weeks worrying myself to death whether or not Sam is getting enough to eat, etc. Although he was sent home with kibble, he won't eat anything dry now. At ALL. And my boy is a light eater. He's gone as long as 10 hours overnight with nothing, and will still wait to eat breakfast until after we have play time.
