 Moving from vt to fla with a 8 week old pup

i am new here and i have a question i just purchased a new yorkie puppy and i pick her up next week she is 8 weeks old so on the 27th we are moving {driving} to fla does anyone have surgesstions for the new pup i dont want her her get sick help plz |
