Just FWIW...I am still so heart broken for you and keep checking back to see updates, hoping you have your baby back. {{{Hugs}}}
YUP!! "You" have to be very careful with your dogs these days, I don't care what neighborhood "you" are in or how many friends you have on the block etc., especially with Yorkies and similar breeds. Treat them as if they are "your" human babies. I hear of so many stories where people leave their dogs tied outside while at Starbucks or the grocery store etc. I could never do it. If we can't go somewhere together we go home or I will just leave Miles at home and do my errands. One day a beautiful Yorkie, a little bigger than Miles, was tied up outside of a store barking his little heart out and it was cold outside that day too. If I were not on my way to work I would have stayed with him until his owner came out. Then she would have probably cursed me out for bothering her dog. Hmmm, she's lucky I didn't take him. AND, Miles and I were in that very same store together and NOT in his doggie purse but on his leash walking around; no one told us to leave...

I remember people used to / still do, who knows years ago brag about being able to leave their doors unlocked, then I heard on the news houses where getting robbed because the doors were unlocked.

But I am glad you got the baby back. You are especially lucky since she was stolen from you versus her running away and getting lost.
