Default Simba's bald spots

The vet did do scrapings of the area at two different times. There was nothing found. No fungus, ringworm, parasites-the scrapings were clear both times. She insisted I try the Clearasil and said if that didn't work maybe she should do a biopsy. I don't want to put him through unnecessary anesthesia, pain or discomfort. I am adamant about they allergy to grain theory after all I have read and researched. I don't mind waiting of two month to see if we get a result from the grain free since he is not uncomfortable. I love him in spite of the bald spots and am determined to find out what is causing this.
