Hello again! To answer some of the questions asked. Baxter was not the runt. One of his sisters was, who is going to be bigger than him. I have a feeling with his laid back nature, that he stepped aside to let his siblings have at the food. I have to sit down beside him for him to eat. He follows me everywhere. If I walk away, so does he.
I have been trying to figure out the picture posting. All of my photos are taken on an iphone. When I attach them they are sideways. I need to do a little more reading on how to post pictures. Any tips would be appreciated. I tried the mobile app, but didn't see where you could post a picture.
I just can't get over how sweet this little boy is. I definately made a good pick of the litter. Like I said previously I went with a picture in mind of what I wanted in a YT, & he is not what I had in mind, but I couldn't help falling in love with him. I am also looking for suggestions on what is best for him next week when I return to week. I took a couple of days off to have some time to spend with him before leaving him home alone.
I am going to purchase a baby gate to put up in the kitchen door. I am also working at "potty pad" training. He has pottied several times (still working on pooping). My daughter has offered to puppy sit while I am at work. Just curious of what people feel about small room vs crate. I do have a small crate for him to go in even when he is in the kitchen area. I know I may hear I am making a mistake but I've been letting him sleep with me. The last 2 nights he has laid right beside me ALL night, & pottied on the pad immediately when I sat him on it. I just feel so bad that if I have to confine him during the day I do not want to turn around & confine at night too. Suggestions/Advice of what you do with your Yorkie while at work. Sorry so long, but being a new mommy to a Yorkie I am yearning to learn everything I can about them.
