I totally forgot about this last night when I was trying to think of cute stories about Izzy - she totally "mothers" my husband. When we go to bed at night (mind you he has a very short, military cut hairstyle) she will literally climb on top of this pillow and just lick his head "clean." Much like we presume her momma cleaned her before she went to sleep. And if he tries to move her before she thinks she has satisfactorily cleaned him, she will growl at him. When she is finished with him, she comes over to me, gives me a quick kiss on the cheek or ear and then she goes and lays down. It is the cutest think ever!
