You two are too funny! I give Kansas a bad rap. It really is a great place to live and raise a family and I am all about the small town country life, I love that aspect. I do a lot of amateur photography and photograph the beauty of Kansas and what Kansas has to offer. Every time I leave and visit another state I get the Wizard of Oz jokes and Dorothy jokes. LOL. It's all good. I'm just generally speaking when you have so many other states with so very much to offer, Kansas is not generally on someone's vacation hot spot list. That's all. But, I promise, driving by car from western Kansas to eastern Kansas would be the longest most boring drive you ever took. Unless you like to watch tumbleweeds blow.

Isn't Kansas in tornado ally? That is one thing that would scare the bejeebers out of me.
