Welcome to the wonderful world of yorkies! Puppies need a lot of time and attention- I would reccomend adopting. An older yorkie will be more sedate and you can spend time with it to see what its personality is like. Just because a dog isnt a puppy doesnt mean you can't train it to your lifestyle. What ever you choose to do I'm glad your doing your homework.
