My Brandi is from our first litter. I really wish that we could keep one of her pups. I've been eying the little runt. OUr little surprise girl, but 5 is just too many for us.

When I saw that pic of Ruby on her back, belly bulging, I remembered my little Maggie....she was absolutely huge also, and could only get comfortable lying on her back! I knew we were looking at more than 3 babies, just from remembering how Maggie looked! I am so happy she finally had them....I could see an emergency room vet visit, in the middle of Saturday night! I was so relieved when she whelped! Truly, "waiting to exhale"!!! |
I took a look back at her breeding schedule and found that the first tie was not during her ov time (within the 5 days) so that took some of the worry off my mind. And if you go by the second tie at day one of her ov, she whelped right on schedule. I do Thank you and everyone so much for stying right there with me during the waiting process. That is one of the reason I love being a part of YT.
Plus that pic was nothing compaired to the ones we took the day before she whelped. Of course laying in her fav possition and wanting her belly rubbed.
