I am so very sorry for your loss. They find their way into our hearts so quickly.

I also agree that you should take whatever the breeder is offering.

I also agree with another person on here suggested about the bloodwork. I did that with one of my dogs and her Kidney part of the bloodwork did come back positive for kidney failure. We went back and forth for 2 weeks. I had my Angel for 3 weeks but knowing what was going on helped somehow.

In time your heart will be ready to open for another baby. You will know when. I do suggest that you ask the breeder what testing they do on their breeding stock and get your baby tested thoroughly.
