My girl Tea' had a very similar whelping...also 3 girls/3 boys her first litter...and sure enough that #6 girl came when I thought it was all done. (I kept that girl, my little Katie pictured in my avatar).
When I saw that pic of Ruby on her back, belly bulging, I remembered my little Maggie....she was absolutely huge also, and could only get comfortable lying on her back! I knew we were looking at more than 3 babies, just from remembering how Maggie looked! I am so happy she finally had them....I could see an emergency room vet visit, in the middle of Saturday night! I was so relieved when she whelped! Truly, "waiting to exhale"!!!
