When Huey was that age, he was a bad nose nipper. He drew blood on both me & hubby a couple of times by nipping the nasal septum. A firm NO and a gentle push away from the face finally stopped that behavior. Sometimes we still let him climb around on our heads and play in our hair, but no nipping allowed. A pillow over the face (ours, not his) is a good protector for this kind of play, and it is usually the "get out of bed and play with me" that starts it.
Sometimes he gets snippy and protective of items and once again, we use the NO and gently remove the item from the area.
