It's stories like these that make me glad I do things the way I do. First I do have to say shame on the breeder of this poor puppy. She should have never let it go home at 8 weeks, also she should have not let a puppy that small go to a home with small children. I am so angry when I see posts like this. If you are going to breed do it for the right reasons and after you have sufficient knowledge of what your getting into. Have a nice sized savings for emergencies set aside. Have your dogs tested before you breed. And always remember these babies depend on you to keep them safe. This is why there is a standard that is there for a reason. If your dog doesn't come close to resembling the standard then it shouldn't be bred just loved as a pet.
