I believe you did the right thing. I don't know how it feels to have to put a dog, especially one that's been so close to me, asleep. I have been faced with the decision, but he recovered and I didn't have to even think about it.

However, I think that if I were put in your position, I would have made the same decision. I would have hated myself for it, but I think I would have done the same thing.

You didn't give up on your baby, and I hope you know that. You gave her the chance to be so much better just outside of Rainbow Bridge. You gave her the best life you could have, and an even better one that anyone else could have.
