My obsession is big dolls that you can dress up very fancy - like in the little girl beauty pageants or something - and decorate seasonally around her, for instance a beautiful 35" Shirley Temple or Patti Playpal doll wearing a beautiful, fancy, frilly red dress with lots of lace, big, huge petticoats, big red bow in her hair, fancy frilly socks, the perfect shoes, then surround the doll with heart figure cut-outs, Kewpie dolls and cupids, bowers of roses, etc., for ♥Valentine's Day♥. Then you take video or photos of the scene to put into a little movie or screensaver or share with others. The perfect dress, Easter Basket, lots of stuffed pastel bunnies, Easter grass around her feet dotted with Easter eggs, baskets of Lilies and other flowers, even a lifesize Easter Bunny - things like that. It's fun and lots of people enjoy the decorations, too. That way I get to indulge in all of my love of shopping - shopping for the doll itself, all of the clothes & accessories, seasonal props & enjoying seeing a little girl image in fancy clothes and things without becoming a pageant mom or something like that!!! When Valentine's Day is over, I start on Easter and when it is over - Memorial Day, FOJ, Back To School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. It's a fun obsession to have and brightens up the den or living room for each holiday.

I just love your secret obsession. Mine is American Girl Dolls. We gave two (at different times of course) to our youngest daughter and when she grew up she didn't take them with her when she moved out. I started making doll clothes. Now I think it's going to be Princess Sophie. I really want to make things for her but I just can't seem to get started. Well.....she has only been here 2 1/2 days. LOL
