Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear you've not been Well and then have to go through something like this with Jada!
I agree with others, I wouldn't beat yourself up over it though. Sick or not, you were vigilant enough to carry on your routine of brushing and found the problem and got her to the vet before a serious infection had set in.
Jada still looks so precious with her short beard.
I'm glad you posted this thread along with the pictures because I would've never imagined that their hair could get caught around their teeth! Yazmin's beard is not that long but it does get in her mouth when she eats. She too has a very small mouth and it's hard to brush her back teeth but I'll at least know to inspect her teeth more often. I'll be watching your post for the name of the dental rinse you mentioned.
