I understand your concern. Your pet truly looks very little like either a Yorkie OR a Silky. I have papers stating that our Graysee is a full-blooded Yorkshire Terrier, but she looks much more akin to a Silky (longer snout, bushier hair, taller, heavier, etc.) I have been pondering getting a DNA test done to determine once and for all exactly WHAT her genetic make-up is, and if you want to know for certain, I'd suggest doing the same. There are a few places to research, one being Wisdom Panel, and there is also DDC Veterinary, but these cost anywhere from $60-$80, so you need to be certain you want to spend the money. Actually, since we never planned to breed or show our baby, it really doesn't matter much, as we love her no matter WHAT she is!
