Well, almost all dogs get a major yeast infection following mange treatment. Sometimes it depends on how harsh of chemicals have been used. But w/ many mange treatments, a subsequent yeast (candida) infection is almost a guarantee. Many vets will tell you that you'll likely have to treat for yeast after the Mange resolves. I'd contact your vet and ask if you should do a skin scrape and culture - or - if they just want to go ahead and treat for yeast.
