Having done a lot of reading on the subject I'm leery of buying a puppy online without actually meeting the breeder/home. So idealy I would want to find a breeder that I could visit, and pick the baby up myself. My sister adopted a "Shorkie" (Shih tzu/yorkie mix) from a friend of her boyfriend's (bought the dog, but traveled too much & gave him up) & he was originally shipped from Washington D.C. I don't really want to go that route, and have a dog shipped to me that I've only ever seen pics of.
Does anyone know of a good breeder (hopefully from personal experience) in the MI/OH/IN/IL region? | What I would recommend is to make a point of attending the dog show at Cobo hall March 2nd and 3rd. It's a benched show so we will be there all day to talk to people about the Yorkie Breed. Some YTCA members will be there.
