Oh, and an update. I'm still just cleaning with water twice a day and combing it out. She's looking MUCH better. The hair is staying out of her eyes much better.
The only hitch is the hair is so damaged from 3 years of gunk abuse that it's difficult to comb. Kinda scraggly, even when wet. Some hair is coming out in the comb. Not much, but it will probably add up quickly.
