Sometimes ears have a hard time while they are teething. Usually they are up for the first several weeks but may go down a bit if they are stressed or if the hair on the ears gets too heavy.

Is it possible for a championship blood line to have floppy ears? Well, I guess it is possible but not probable. Did you see the pedigree? Did you see both parents? That is a lot of money to pay for a pet even from a show/breeder. Have you shaved the hair off his ears yet?
