How long is the hair on his ears? If the tips are not shaved, the weight of the hair can make them droop. Try that if they aren't shaved/trimmed right now.
It's not unusual to have ears that don't stand on their own. If the trimming doesn't work (takes a few days or so so give it time), then you can look into taping the ears...just research and find out the proper way of doing it ok?
Unfortunately, you really can't predict a Yorkie's weight..so many factors are involved. Is this an AKC registered pup? What champion line is he from?
