Should I stop them?

I know what you mean. I have an older yorkie (almost 13) and although i have steps for her she still sometimes will jump down. I hate it especially when she jumps off the bed. I have steps for the bed and couch. As for them being jumping bean, you can always train them to stop if you are concern. Me personally I give in to her jumping and just pick her. I'm used to it, I am awaken every night around 3:00 in morning for me to lift her up in bed.
