Well, the only people who come into my house he knows, so that's not a good test. This morning he got away leash free and ran up to many strangers and barked and barked. He never got aggressive with anyone, but would not let any strangers pet him. He was very friendly with all the dogs he met. Took awhile but I finally got him. He usually comes with I have a treat, but not this time -- too many distractions, we were at my girlfriend's and surroundings were not familiar. I've also learned not to chase him, but he will chase me if I can get his attention. As most of you know these little guys are really fast.
BTW, I've been bit by a dog. The dog just ran up to me and bit me with no warning, then ran around like he just won the Super Bowl. I've also read that any dog is capable of biting, so even though Ruger is usually friendly it does worry me. |
