Hello everyone. I have had my 7 week old yorkie puppy for about 3 days now. He is doing very well with potty training so far.

We both work long hours during the day and leave the house around 7:15 am and won't return home until around 4:00 pm and sometimes not even until 5:30 or so. We are keeping him in a crate during those hours.

We were wondering if it's ok to let him sleep in bed with us that way he isn't in his crate for 8 hours at night and then another 9 or so while we are at work? We don't want him to get depressed/lonely. We thought about putting him in a small shoebox type box and making a bed in it and sitting it on our bed while we sleep. That way he can't escape or potty in our bed, but, he will still know we are there.

Tips/suggestions?
