You will do fine. Some stuff you have to live through to learn anyway. Just make sure you have enough money for all the puppy visits and emergency's. You can read a million books and still not be prepared for these little guys they honestly are unlike any dog I have ever had and don't seem to follow any of the should be like this rules lol.
