Thanks, Valerie. You and all of Sunny's other angels are so wonderful! I just got an update on him....
The internist found that the tip of Sunny's tongue is necrotic from a blood clot! This is a result of the protein losing nephropathy...they are at risk of clots. He is on aspirin now to prevent clots. I had just never heard of this one! She said she has seen it before. Anyway....this may be why he is not eating!! I surely hope this is it! It has been 8 days since he ate anything.
His labs are looking better so she is hoping to increase his feedings tomorrow and possibly he can come home on Tuesday. Of course he will still have the feeding tube, but it would be nice to get him out of there. I know it is hard on him. When I went there today he was wagging his tail, but he looked so sad when I left.
