Cali does not do her business outside,( but she love the outdoor) but we have had really scary hawk issues so I don't let her get very far away from me - and if we are at a gathering like in the park I even put mesh over it so nothing can get to her from the air.

You said you live in a rural area so you probably know about those hawk things! Be sure to have lots of respect for them with your little Yorkie!
